After the authorities accidentally rescue a group of minor girls from being trafficked, Animesh Dutta, the rogue Special Crime Branch officer, is sent to the Sundarbans to bust a women trafficking racket

In the Sundarbans, Animesh rescues a teenage girl, Dugga, from being trafficked and takes her to the hospital. Instructed by their boss, the Hujja boys plan to teach the new officer a lesson.

Animesh visits the ashram headed by the seer Shambhu Baba and his beautiful partner Mohini Ma. Parallely, while Dutta plans an attack against the Hujja boys, a new girl goes missing.

When one of the Hujja boys is found hanging from a tree, the gang thinks that Animesh is behind the murder. The nurse at the hospital finds out that her brother, Pintu, is a Hujja and is involved in trafficking.

Animesh finds out that Kanu is the kingpin of the racket. When the Hujja boys kidnap Dugga from the hospital, someone bashes them up and rescues Dugga. Animesh is surprised to find out the identity of the saviour.

Animesh gets to know that Kanu used to be a dreaded criminal. He meets the investigating officer who arrested Kanu. At the Ashram, Shampa confesses to Baba that Pintu is a Hujja. Parul's body is found.

Binod Bihari takes Animesh to meet Malati, a trafficking victim with similar wounds on her face as Parul. When asked what happened with her, Malati breaks down and mentions 'hyena'. Swamprabha is on fire.

Shampa and Pintu go missing. Animesh sets a patrol for Kanu, Pintu, and the other Hujja boys. While the police catch one Hujja boy, Animesh gets an important clue about Kanu.

Animesh and his team go to the haunted meadow but find nothing there. When Poritosh and Kanu are interrogated, Kanu blames Poritosh for betraying and killing Ratan. Kanu manages to run from the lockup.

Animesh finds both Shampa and Pintu when he leads his team to the haunted meadow. The culprit too is nabbed.
