Jo Bonnier was a Swedish Formula 1 driver, born on January 31, 1930, in Stockholm, Sweden. He competed in Formula 1 from the 1950s to the 1970s, achieving his only Grand Prix victory at the 1959 Dutch Grand Prix. Beyond F1, he was also a respected endurance racer. Bonnier tragically passed away on June 11, 1972, in Le Mans, France, after a fatal crash during the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
