House of Drag: Episode list
In the series premiere of House of Drag, we meet the hosts Kita and Anita, who introduce the nine New Zealand drag-stars who are living together.
Celebrating their survival, the drag-stars gather for a game of croquet in the backyard; where there is talk of Leidy Lei’s flat shoes being considered as cheating, and Bunny Holiday’s habits of face-tuning her photos.
Kita and Anita introduce the challenge for this week, a costume challenge that gives the drag-stars two minutes to select from a table of “crap.” The drag-stars become violent in the chaos as Lola rips material from Hugo’s arms.
The competition amps up as the drag-stars are forced to work in teams of three and devise a skit that's inspired by Kita and Anita's drag careers. Who will light up the stage? And who's light will be dimmed?
The drag-stars compete in a dance challenge. Plus, negative vibes surround the house as the rift between the Aucklanders and Wellingtonians continues.
The final four drag-stars are challenged to write raps about each other and battle it out to stay in the competition.
Season Finale: Only three drag-stars remain and they have one last chance to battle it out for the title of Brightest Star and winner of the first ever season of House of Drag.
There is mayhem as everyone collects items, and then panic as a lot of the Stars struggle to find inspiration.
Kita and Anita inform the stars that today they will be doing a dance challenge, where the Drag Stars are to pair up and choreograph a dance.
Each star is to select an animal onesie to use as inspiration for their animal inspired Make-Up look.
The Drag Stars spend some time bonding, before Kita and Anita arrive to drop a bombshell; bringing out three new Drag Stars who will be joining the competition.
Kita and Anita inform them of the challenge this week; an acting challenge, which gives Lily the opportunity to prove herself.
The challenge today is for the Drag Stars to prepare an MC routine to use while hosting Drag Bingo, something most of the Stars are excited for.
This week the Stars are to be Drag ‘parents’ to a fresh faced civilian – bringing in a group of clients, where they assign one to each of the Drag Stars and encourage them to make-over their partner.
The Stars challenge this week is a live performance, which is free to interpretation.
Kita and Anita announce that they have written a song called “Swing the Hammer”, in which part of today’s challenge is for stars to write a verse.
It’s the season finale of House of Drag – Series 2, and after getting glam for the day, the final three gather outside and celebrate with a bottle of champagne.
