Austin rekindles the flame with his British lover, Jake, while Reichen sees his relationship with Rodiney beginning to show the strains of moving in together. For our two couples, playing around might be fun, but commitment is serious business.
The guys form alliances but destroy others just as quickly. Ryan stretches out his hand to Austin but soon regrets it. Austin and Jake pledge their eternal love but it doesn't go quite as smoothly as expected. And Reichen and Rodiney's relationship is...well, just a hot mess.

The boys of the A-List get physical. When they try to plan a trip to Maine with Reichen, he receives an unexpected visit that thwarts their plans. Meanwhile, Austin's friendship with Reichen deepens but becomes strained when he opens up to him.
Reichen faces resistence from the boys when he wants to bring Rodiney to Maine. And with Austin in the mix, his troubles amp up even more. Meanwhile, Mike Ruiz prepares for a gallery show, his first solo exhibit of his celebrity transformation photographs.
Mike prepares for his first solo show at the Leslie/Lohman Gallery. He has photographs taken of himself as various Tom of Finland characters for inclusion in the show. Ryan tells TJ that he has an appointment with a surrogacy counselor in hopes of having a child. Austin tells Derek that he is going back to England and may not return. Ryan records a single, "To the Sky", based on a letter he received from a gay Air Force pilot, in support of repealing Don't ask, don't tell. He performs the song live at a party he and Rodiney host. Everyone praises his performance to his face, but Reichen overhears Austin trashing him behind his back. Reichen confronts Austin, who tells him he should break up with Rodiney. Reichen apologizes to Rodiney for not believing him about Austin.

Reichen's online scandal generates gossip about his relationship with Rodiney, and newcomer Nyasha makes a dramatic entrance by stumbling into the midst of an A-List crossfire in the explosive season premiere.
Austin accuses his friends of lacking loyalty. He also throws a cocktail party to show that he isn't an embarrassing drunk. Meanwhile, Derek thinks he has met the (rich and handsome) man of his dreams. Until the guy shows up in New York and Derek sees a side of him he hadn't before.
Betrayals and breakups push the group over the edge as Austin confronts his friends on their lack of loyalty and tries to prove that he is not an embarrassing drunk by throwing a cocktail party. Meanwhile, Derek thinks he has met the rich and handsome man of his dreams... until his dream man shows..
