Aisyah, an aspiring young chef, has her world turned upside down when her mother, Tania, dies. De-spite her Maori boyfriend, Ari’s efforts to help her, Aisyah struggles to move on when faced with her past. Meanwhile, her colleague, Fizah, has taken her spot in the restaurant after impressing Chef Tay, who is looking for a protege to open a new restaurant with.

With the recent return of her estranged father, Rahim, Aisyah struggles to get back to normalcy. At the restaurant, Aisyah’s friendship with Fizah turns rocky when she discovers that she’s lost her sta-tus in the kitchen to Fizah. Meanwhile, Rahim and Ari encounter each other for the first time.
