Daredevil: Born Again (2025 – presente)

Esta nueva etapa del justiciero de Hell’s Kitchen es dura, cruda y, a ratos, desesperanzadora. Y precisamente por eso funciona. No pretende ser complaciente ni fácil de digerir: su objetivo es recordarnos que el mundo real pocas veces es justo, y que la corrupción suele ir un paso por delante de los ideales. La serie lo consigue. Charlie Cox vuelve más contenido y abatido, mostrando un Murdock en guerra con su fe y su rabia. Pero quien sigue robando cada escena es Vincent D’Onofrio, cuyo Kingpin es ya un villano de culto. Imposible no desear que todo le salga mal desde el minuto uno. El guion potencia ese sentimiento, al mostrar cómo el poder se infiltra en todos los niveles, desde la política hasta los tribunales. A ratos la injusticia es tan aplastante que cuesta no llorar con algunas decisiones o traiciones. Pero ahí está la fuerza emocional de la historia. Visualmente mantiene la estética sucia y cercana que hizo grande a la original. Las escenas de acción están bien resueltas, aunque sin alardes, y el ritmo es sólido, con apenas altibajos. El tono es más oscuro, más adulto, más político. Hay sangre, hay dolor, pero también hay verdad. Y eso, en un universo donde muchas series parecen perderse en el artificio, es de agradecer. Born Again no será del gusto de todos. Algunos echarán de menos el tono más heroico o querrán ver más puñetazos por minuto. Pero esta serie va de otra cosa: de resiliencia, de perder y volver a levantarse, de luchar incluso cuando sabes que el sistema está en tu contra. Lo importante no es solo ganar, sino resistir. Marvel, por fin, ha hecho algo que no se siente prefabricado. Y eso ya es una victoria. This new chapter of the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante is harsh, raw, and at times, hopeless. And that’s precisely why it works. It doesn’t aim to be comforting or easy to watch — its goal is to remind us that the real world is rarely fair, and corruption is usually one step ahead of ideals. The series succeeds at that. Charlie Cox returns more restrained and broken, portraying a Murdock at war with both his faith and rage. But it’s Vincent D’Onofrio who continues to steal every scene — his Kingpin is already a legendary villain. You can’t help but hope everything goes wrong for him from minute one. The script leans into this, showing how power infiltrates everything, from politics to the courts. At times, the injustice is so overwhelming that it’s hard not to cry at certain decisions or betrayals. That emotional punch is the show’s real strength. Visually, it keeps the gritty, grounded aesthetic that made the original great. The action scenes are solid, though not flashy, and the pacing remains steady with few dips. The tone is darker, more mature, more political. There’s blood, pain — but also truth. And in a universe where so many series get lost in spectacle, that’s refreshing. Born Again won’t please everyone. Some will miss a more heroic tone or want more punches per minute. But this story is about something else: resilience, falling down and rising again, fighting even when you know the system is rigged against you. It’s not just about winning — it’s about enduring. Marvel has finally delivered something that doesn’t feel factory-made. And that, in itself, is a victory.
