(CASTELLANO) Las historias de supervivencia en entornos extremos pueden ser una gran fuente de suspense, pero La plataforma no logra sacarle todo el partido. Aunque el ambiente es convincente y el reparto cumple, la serie avanza sin lograr enganchar del todo. No hay giros inesperados ni un desarrollo que atrape, lo que hace que la experiencia termine siendo menos intensa de lo que debería. Desde el primer episodio, la serie presenta un misterio que parece tener potencial, pero su desarrollo no logra estar a la altura. Hay momentos donde la tensión funciona, pero en otros la trama se frena y pierde fuerza, lo que afecta la sensación de intriga. A medida que avanzan los episodios, la historia se vuelve más predecible y deja de sorprender. Uno de los aspectos más rescatables es el reparto. Los actores consiguen que sus personajes resulten creíbles, aunque el guion no siempre les brinde muchas oportunidades para destacar. Son ellos quienes logran sostener la serie en sus momentos más flojos, aportando algo de emoción incluso cuando la historia no lo consigue por sí sola. A nivel visual, se nota el empeño en crear ambientes que atrapen: los escenarios logran transmitir esa sensación de aislamiento y amenaza, y se percibe el esfuerzo por dotar cada escena de una atmósfera envolvente. Pero cuando la narrativa falla, ni siquiera una puesta en escena impecable puede compensarlo; en ocasiones, la estética acaba llamando más la atención que la propia historia. La plataforma no pasará a la historia, pero tampoco es una serie fallida. Tiene algunos aciertos, como un reparto convincente y un entorno bien construido, pero le falta algo más de ritmo y personalidad para destacar dentro del género. Es entretenida a ratos, pero deja la sensación de que con un mejor desarrollo habría sido mucho más interesante. While the setting is convincing and the cast does a decent job, the series fails to fully engage. There are no unexpected twists or a gripping development, which makes the experience feel less intense than it should be. From the very first episode, the series introduces a mystery that seems promising, yet its execution falls short. There are moments where the tension works, but at other times, the plot slows down and loses momentum, weakening the sense of intrigue. As the episodes progress, the story becomes increasingly predictable and stops being surprising. One of the most redeeming aspects is the cast. The actors manage to make their characters believable, even though the script doesn’t always give them enough room to shine. They are the ones who keep the show afloat during its weaker moments, adding some emotion even when the story itself falls flat. Visually, there is a clear effort to create immersive settings: the locations effectively convey a sense of isolation and danger, and the production team works hard to build a compelling atmosphere. However, when the storytelling falters, even flawless visuals can’t make up for it; at times, the aesthetics end up drawing more attention than the story itself. La plataforma won’t go down in history, but it’s not a complete failure either. It has some strengths, such as a solid cast and a well-crafted setting, but it lacks the energy and personality needed to stand out in the genre. It’s entertaining at times, yet it leaves the impression that, with better development, it could have been much more compelling.
