Initially hesitant, I decided to give the movie a chance despite my reservations. It falls into the romcom category, aiming to deliver dramatic moments with a comedic twist. The cast is solid, the storyline is amusing, and the plot unfolds predictably. The mix-up involving the parents is particularly hilarious, showcasing the absurdity of the situation where both parents unknowingly cheat with their daughter's fiancé. Unfortunately, the revelation of this scandal lacks the impact it should have had. Instead of intense arguments and emotional reconciliations, the resolution feels flat and lacks the necessary chaos. The film fails to delve into the aftermath of the reveal, leaving loose ends and unanswered questions. It feels like a missed opportunity for a more dramatic and satisfying conclusion, ultimately pointing towards shortcomings in the writing. As the movie reaches its closing chapter, it abruptly wraps up without fully exploring the consequences of the parents' actions. The lack of closure and resolution leaves the audience wanting more, feeling unsatisfied with the way things are left unresolved. Overall, the film is mediocre and lacks depth, earning only one and a half stars from me.
