Graduation film by Oleksandr Kybalnyk, a student of the Ivan Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv Institute of Theatre Arts. Based on Lesia Ukrainka’s unfinished novella. At the end of the 19th century, a Ukrainian boy, Petro, is torn from his home and beloved and conscripted into the Russian army.
